 Off-Season Program Offerings

  Fall Ball (Grades K-8th)

This four week clinic takes place on Monday evenings at Central High School beginning in late September.  The clinic focuses on teaching and refining the fundamentals of the game from ball handling to passing to shooting. Groups will be divided into beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels.  A great tune-up for players preparing for the upcoming middle school and LCBA seasons.  It is also an excellent first step for younger players just beginning to play the game. Players receive a Riverhawks T-Shirt for participating.

  LCBA Skill Sessions (Grades 3rd-12th)

The LCBA skills sessions are led by some of the top skill instructors in the Midwest and incorporate continuously evolving teaching techniques that will take your game to the next level.  This program consists of a one hour session an average of two days a week and we offer it in the Spring, Summer and Fall.

Shooting Clinic (Grades 3rd-8th)

This clinic focuses on teaching players the proper shooting techniques that they will need to become outstanding offensive players in the future.  Each player will receive a Riverhawks Shooting Program which will provide a plan for them to continue to work on their shooting skills throughout the Spring, Summer and Fall.

 Spring Basketball League (Grades 3rd-8th)

This league runs in April and May for five weeks on Sunday afternoons/evenings.  This provides an excellent opportunity for our players to compete against other area teams without having to leave La Crosse.

Riverhawks Summer Basketball Camp (Grades K-4th)

This camp takes place in early June and provides a great opportunity for players to sharpen their skills heading into the summer break.  We combine drills that focus on improving offensive and defensive skills while also incorporating fun competitions and games into each session.

Riverhawks-Summer Offensive Skills Camp (Grades 5th-12th)

The Riverhawks Summer Offensive Skills Camp is known as one of the top basketball camp values in the Midwest. The focus is on developing dribbling, penetration and shooting skills that will create highly effective offensive players.  Similar camps cost over $200.00 but through the efforts of the LCBA, we can charge a significantly reduced price.  There simply is no better summer camp value in the state of Wisconsin.  This program is separate and not part of the "Special Club Membership Package Pricing".

AAU - Amateur Athletic Union (Grades 3rd-12th)

The LCBA-AAU Program takes place in the Spring.   Instruction for this program is provided by Central High School coaches and current and former college players and coaches.   This program is separate and not part of the "Special Club Membership Package Pricing".
